Guthrie Corning Hospital will present the 18th Annual Valentine’s Ball, on Feb. 9, 2019 at the Corning Museum of Glass. The Valentine’s Ball is the hospital’s premier fundraising event, drawing approximately 300 guests each year. Proceeds from the Valentine’s Ball benefit the Guthrie Corning Cancer Center and its mission to finish the fight against cancer. Employees at Guthrie Cortland Medical Center, formerly Cortland Regional Medical Center, were invited to an information fair and welcome event on Jan. 9 and 10 as part of their official welcome to the Guthrie system. The event featured information and raffles from teams across the Guthrie system, remarks from leadership, the unveiling of new signage at the hospital, and coverage from a number of media outlets.
