On Oct. 26, Guthrie celebrated Breast Cancer Awareness Month with a special Ladies Night Out. The free event featured representatives from several Guthrie programs, community organizations and local vendors. Activities included an “Ask the Expert” area with important information about breast health, mammograms, free skin screenings, free flu shots, blood pressure checks, weight loss assessments and information from New York and Pennsylvania agencies about free screenings. Participants were also treated to refreshments, prizes and wonderful music provided by a harpist.
