This Sunday, Nov. 6, Daylight Savings Time ends for 2016.  This means that at 2 a.m. all clocks will be set back to 1 a.m. In Epic this calls for special attention for any data entered during the second 1-2 a.m. period. Click here  to view the process that should be followed during this time in order to accurately capture data in Epic. Please take note that the interfaces from data validate will be turned off during the second 1-2 a.m.

The GE Centricity (IDX) computer system will be down on Sunday, Nov. 6 beginning at 12:45 a.m. for a duration of three hours. The purpose of this downtime is to change the time on the GE(IDX) computers back to Eastern Standard Time. The time change will occur during the downtime.  All GE(IDX) applications and Cerner Bloodbank will be unavailable.

The Epic - EMR system which depends on the GE(IDX) system for ADT information will remain up but will have special down time procedures to update the ADT information manually.

The target date for End User Training registration is Nov.30. Meeting these target dates will give managers time to assess and coordinate scheduling and backfill needs. Please discuss with your manager and register for your Super User and End User classes.

On Saturday, Oct. 15, at 1 a.m. (early morning) to 1:30 a.m., there will be a short outage for a required software patch. During this outage, the Read-only Epic system will be available.   Downtime servers will also be available, if deemed necessary by your department. It will be held in the Omnicell mobile demonstration truck, which will be parked on Guthrie’s Sayre Campus from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Oct. 18. PeopleSoft will experience scheduled down time between 5 p.m. Oct. 14 and 8 a.m. Oct. 17 to install system upgrades. During this time, employees will not be able to access the system to view paychecks or make changes to their personal information. All of your information will again be accessible after the downtime ends Oct. 17. Stay tuned for additional information about enhancements coming soon to the PeopleSoft homepage.
