Beginning Monday, Sept., 19, through Thursday, Sept., 22, Valley Energy will be doing work on Hayden St., weather permitting. This will cause the closure of Hayden St. between S. Wilbur and S. Elmer from approximately 7 a.m. - 4 p.m. on those dates.  During the road closure, the employee shuttle buses will detour to Chemung St. for the return trip to the shuttle lot causing the return trip to be a bit longer than usual. In addition, the wait in the shuttle lot may be affected by the delay.  Please be mindful of this when planning your trip to and from work during this time frame.

The Safety Circle at Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital worked hard this past year, along with all the employees, to maintain the hospital as an OSHA VPP Star Site.  VPP stands for Voluntary Protection Program, which is a partnership between business and OSHA. Benefits include a safer work place, reduced employee injuries, improved morale and employees involved in safety process. The Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital is only one of eight hospitals in the United States to achieve this award. This is due to all employees’ contributions in helping to sustain our status as an OSHA VPP Star Site.

The employee shuttle service will not be running on Labor Day due to the company holiday. On Sept. 5 only, staff who report to work may park in the employee parking on the Guthrie Sayre Campus or in the Wilbur Ave. lot.  Due to limited staffing, there may be longer than usual wait times for the shuttle service during the remainder of the week, September 6 - 9, in the morning hours.  We apologize for the delays and thank you for your understanding.
