A third year Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital family medicine resident, Ashley Cipriano, has accepted a position with Guthrie faculty next year. She will be performing osteopathic manipulation upon completion of her training. Welcome to the team, Dr. Cipriano!
The Food Farm Family Festival, held in Sayre on Saturday, Aug. 5, featured over 30 vendors to promote good health in the community. The event featured lots of farm-fresh food, cooking demonstrations, movement-based activities and more. More than 500 visitors are estimated to have attended. Thank you to all who made this festival a success, especially the planning committee and members of the Guthrie Weight Loss Center and Guthrie Wellness Program.

The annual Best Hospitals rankings, now in their 28th year, are part of U.S. News’ patient portal, designed to help patients make informed decisions about where to receive care for life-threatening conditions or for common elective procedures.
There will be floor renovations taking place in the Guthrie Sayre atrium beginning on August 7. The work will start nightly at 5 p.m. until complete, and may take up to two weeks. There will be detoured routes to accommodate anyone entering or leaving the facilities and directional signs and caution tape along the work areas as well as an employee to help guide people as needed. It is now easy to view and create Guthrie-related events on your own on Workplace. Events on Workplace allow Guthrie employees to communicate with each other about planning, organizing and attending the event. It is also a place where employees can observe the event from afar even if they are unable to attend. Pictures, details and updates can be added for followers of the event to see.
