Guthrie has introduced an enhanced referral bonus for all employees who refer an experienced RN who is hired by Guthrie at one of our facilities. Employees have the opportunity to receive a $7,500 bonus if they refer an experienced, external RN who is hired for a full-time eligible position. An "experienced RN" is defined as a RN with two or more years of RN experience. This bonus applies for RN referrals to any Guthrie position requiring a licensed RN.
For the plan year beginning Jan. 1, 2019, the annual benefits open enrollment period is held Nov. 10 - Dec. 10. This will again be an online process accessed through the PeopleSoft Self Service portal on the Guthrie Intranet page or via the Employee Login link from the Internet for all employees.
Due to Guthrie’s observance of the Thanksgiving holiday on Thursday, Nov. 22 and Friday, Nov. 23, both Payroll and Accounts Payable check mailing/release will be moved to Wednesday, Nov. 21. These changes impact the submission deadline for timesheets and Accounts Payable submissions as follows:
Beginning Jan. 1, 2019, all employees who request leave including FMLA, DBL, PFL or any other type of leave will contact Cigna directly rather than going through the Guthrie HR team. Cigna offers two methods to submit leave requests: via phone and online. Learn more about this process by clicking here.
The deadline for completing Compliance Training has been extended to Dec. 1. All employees must complete the modules assigned to them in Guthrie Learn by this date. To access them go to Guthrie Learn and sign in to your account. The next step is to click on “My Training to Complete” to see your assigned modules. If you have trouble accessing or opening the modules, please contact the IT Helpdesk at 570-887-5380.
Effective July 1, Accounts Payable will not accept the current paper Mileage Reimbursement Form. The process for mileage reimbursement now includes an electronic form and electronic submission. The electronic form will streamline the process, save processing time and reduce paper, as it will be submitted, approved and processed electronically. The new electronic forms can be found in the Forms Library on the Intranet. Find the forms by hovering over "Human Resources" in the top banner, then clicking "HR Forms", "Finance", "Mileage".
This year, your annual tax return includes data requests regarding your enrollment in a health insurance plan. The Affordable Care Act (ACA) requires employers to send a tax form called the 1095-C to all full-time employees, or any employees who have been enrolled in the health plan over the past year. This form documents any offers of health insurance coverage made and any proof of coverage elections, and is used for determining eligibility for the premium tax credit available through the government.
