As schools plan to reopen in some capacity in a few weeks, we know that many of you may be feeling the stress and anxiety of again having to determine how to balance your role at Guthrie with your role as a parent or guardian. This week, managers were asked to discuss these challenges with their teams and provide feedback via the Parent/Guardian Survey for managers by Thursday, August 13.

The annual training modules have been assigned to you and are available via Guthrie Learn. They are due to be completed no later than October 31. This year, the annual training modules are 15 minutes less in length and yet remain compliant with all regulatory requirements. In an effort for managers to be prepared for the annual training, we’ve provided a document that provides a simple step-by-step approach on how to review direct reports, change reporting relationships in Peoplesoft, and leverage team monitor in Guthrie Learn to view status of completions.

The Guthrie Young Professionals Network (YPN) will be hosting an employee appreciation event to say thank you to all the members of the Guthrie family for the outstanding work that has been done over the past few months.

The ATA Portal and WebClock will be down from 10 p.m. to 12 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 15. All timeclocks will undergo a reboot starting at 11:30 p.m. on this date. Employees that are working during this downtime should be prepared to clock in via timeclock. If both timeclock and WebClock are unavailable, please communicate with your manager and/or fill out a time correction form.
Guthrie Corning Hospital recently held a Hospital Emergency Response Training (HERT) class, consisting of classroom presentation, donning and doffing level C protection suits, and training with the Mass Casualty Incident Tent that was assembled outside the Emergency Department.
