Each training is open to all but limited to 300 people per session. Each session will be recorded and shared on Workplace for those who cannot attend.

Starting this new school year may look and feel very different – for both students and parents. Guthrie now offers EAP benefits through a new partner - SupportLinc, administered by CuraLinc Healthcare. SupportLinc offers a variety of resources to assist parents and guardians as they prepare for the new school year, including on-demand video training on preparing for school, homeschooling and virtual learning and tech safety for kids.
The Guthrie Weight Loss Center and Wellness Committee will host a virtual Food Farm Family Festival from Aug. 15-21. The event, usually held in Howard Elmer Park, will be held virtually this year to comply with social distancing guidelines related to COVID-19.
Guthrie has purchased an unlimited subscription to Emmi patient engagement programs. Emmi provides a library of educational programs addressing chronic condition management, health and wellness topics, medical tests, medications, surgery prep, recovery and follow up, medication topics, preference-sensitive treatment options to support shared decision making, expectation-setting content, and more. Emmi programs are created and edited by the same authors and advisers of UpToDate and Lexicomp, which are currently used by Guthrie clinicians.
As COVID-19 cases continue to sharply increase across much of the country, Guthrie has modified employee travel guidelines to align with the NYS COVID-19 Travel Advisory.
The following states, in which 10% of the total population has tested positive for COVID-19 or the transmission rate is above 10 per 100,000 people on a rolling seven-day average, meet the criteria for quarantine:
The annual training modules have been assigned to you and are available via Guthrie Learn. They are due to be completed no later than October 31. This year, the annual training modules are 15 minutes less in length and yet remain compliant with all regulatory requirements. In an effort for managers to be prepared for the annual training, we’ve provided a document that provides a simple step-by-step approach on how to review direct reports, change reporting relationships in Peoplesoft, and leverage team monitor in Guthrie Learn to view status of completions.
Guthrie has achieved Epic Gold Stars Level 10, in recognition of the healthcare system’s use of the many functions the electronic medical records (EMR) system software offers. The recognition is the highest level that can be achieved and places Guthrie among a group of less than 10 organizations that have received this distinction.
