There’s Still Time to Pledge to Drive Distraction Free

Sep 23, 2016

Distracted driving awareness month at Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital and the Guthrie Sayre Campus is drawing to a close, but you still have time to pledge to drive distraction-free. Melissa Ross, Trauma Resource Nurse and Injury Prevention Coordinator, will be manning an information table and taking pledges outside the cafeteria during lunch time on random days for the remainder of the month. She will also be available in the Sumner Lobby from 3 - 6 p.m. on random days. If you do not see her at those times, you can find Melissa in the Trauma Department on the fourth floor of the Sumner Building, or you may call her at 570-887-6908. Everyone who signs the pledge will receive an “I Pledged to Drive Distraction-Free” lapel pin and information/tip sheet, and will be entered into a prize drawing. Distracted driving awareness activities are being sponsored by the Trauma Team at Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital.
