The skin team committee at Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital works together to assist in proper skin care and prevention of pressure ulcers at the hospital. The committee also works on community projects together. This year they collect items such as school supplies, money, food, and or gently used clothing for a local school. The team collected a car load of school supplies ranging from notebooks to back packs with all the goodies in between like pens, pencils, crayons and markers. There was some clothing donated as well as $200.00 in cash. The skin team was also a recent recipient of the DAISY team award after decreasing pressure ulcers by over 30% from years past. Congratulations to the team for their great effort.
