The Guthrie Veterans Committee poppy display contest drew entries from a number of departments across Guthrie. Each department received fifty red poppies and was challenged to honor either employees in their team who are current or retired veterans, or who have family members in the military. The theme for this year’s displays was “She Served”, a salute to female veterans past and present. Departmental winners were assembled in the Guthrie Clinic Atrium for final judging by a panel of volunteers from the American Legion. This year’s winning display was created by the Endoscopy Center on 4 red at Guthrie in Sayre. Congratulations to the winners and thank you to all who participated!
