Nursing Class Supports Sayre House of Hope

Members of the 1961 Class of the Robert Packer School of Nursing gathered at the Sayre House of Hope recently to present a gift in memory of their classmate, Sandra Eldred Curry Heavlow, who passed away in May of this year following a brief illness. Marie Retter of Sayre, a member of the class said, "Sandy was always a caring nurse and would have been proud to see her life work remembered in this way." Representing the class of 1961 were Carolyn Canfield Kennedy, Margene Bennett Nittinger, Julie Amacher Obrien, Gail Noldy Roley and Marie Bendt Retter.
