The October Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital Pillars of Excellence Award was presented to Michael Fritzen, Rehabilitation Services.
Mike was nominated by a patient, who comments: “Mike always explains things in ways that can be easily understood. He explains the rationale behind the exercises. The likelihood of adhering to the program is better, thereby producing the desired outcome.” According to a coworker: “Mike is always willing to take the opportunity to educate the community and his patients. He is kind and compassionate towards his patients and you will never see Mike without a smile on his face.” Mike received a plant, an engraved award and a parking spot for the month of October.
The Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital Pillars of Excellence Award is presented monthly to an employee who demonstrates consistent, positive behaviors and meets eligibility criteria.
