Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital Names Award Winners for Excellence In Nursing and Nursing Support

Mar 02, 2018

The DAISY Award is a national program that rewards and celebrates the extraordinary clinical skill and compassionate care given by nurses every day. The founders of the program use the award to recognize extraordinary nurses everywhere who make an enormous difference in the lives of so many people. At Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital, the DAISY is awarded quarterly. This quarter's DAISY Award winner is Brittany Oxborrow, RN from 6SW. Brittany was nominated by a patient for providing exceptional care while she was a patient on that unit.

The ROSE Award is Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital's award for recognition of support employees. This program recognizes nursing support employees that go above and beyond and are nominated by their peers, patients, or patients’ families. At Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital, the ROSE Award is given out bi-annually. This month’s ROSE Award winner is Jaimie Everson, Patient Care Partner from 7 Main. Jaimie was nominated by a patient’s family member for the exceptional and compassionate care Jaimie gave to their family member while they were a patient on 7 Main. Jaimie is a second time winner.

Thank you Jaimie and Brittany for all that you do for our patients.
