Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital Announces DAISY Award for Excellence in Nursing

Nov 30, 2018

This year’s DAISY Team Award was presented to the 6SW Unit-Based Fall Committee led by Jeanne Sjoblom.

The DAISY Team Award recognizes a direct-care nurse-led team for its innovative approach to problem solving in order to achieve better patient and family outcomes. The founders of the program use the award to recognize extraordinary nurses everywhere who make an enormous difference in the lives of so many people. At Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital, the DAISY Team Award is awarded annually to team members who are role models of collaboration and team work. This team was nominated by Cindy Whitaker, Nurse Manager, for its hard work and dedication to drastically improve falls on the unit.
