Guthrie Medical Group recently received the 2015 United Healthcare PATH Excellence in Patient Service Award. This award was in recognition of the quality of service Guthrie providers gave their patients in 2015. In recognition of its successful efforts with Medicare Advantage patients in particular, Guthrie also earned a quality incentive of over $300,000. Over the past year, Guthrie has successfully achieved the PATH programs performance metrics, with the majority being measured at a five star rating.
Guthrie participates in the PATH program with United Healthcare as part of our collaborative commitment to value based care and the encouragement of preventative care. This work, which is led by Kelli Morningstar in the Value Based Reimbursement team, focuses on engaging patients and encouraging them to access preventative health care services. This ultimately helps to improve patient health outcomes, and ensures patients are receiving the right care for their individual health needs.
