Cortland Memorial Foundation is pleased to offer financial assistance with tuition and student loans for individuals in an allied health profession. The Foundation has three scholarship programs requiring completion of an application:
- Lawrence J. Dippold Health Education Loan Program (HELP)
- Margaret E. Reynolds Scholarship Loan for Nursing (MER)
- Tuition Buy-Back Program (TBB)
Scholarship awards are determined by the Cortland Memorial Foundation Scholarship Committee and are based on the employment needs of Guthrie Cortland Medical Center, Guthrie Cortland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and the availability of foundation funds.
The fillable application is available on Guthrie.org under “Donors” in the top right of the homepage banner, then the “Giving to Guthrie” page, on the left-hand side of that page scroll down to click on “Cortland Memorial Foundation” and click on “Employee Scholarships.” You can download the application at the bottom of the scholarship page. You can also access the application by clicking here. With the Foundation staff currently working remotely, we will not have hard copies of the applications available outside the Human Resources Suite, but you can print one from the webpage. Please disregard the dates on the application. With this year’s delay, the deadline for completed applications has been extended to Monday, June 15.
Completed applications can be sent to the foundation office in the GCMC HR Suite or emailed to Debbie Sinsabaugh at email@example.com. Incomplete applications will be returned to the applicant for completion. All applications are due by June 15 with no exceptions.
Please give these same instructions to those who are completing a reference on your behalf as references are to be sent separately. Click here to access the Professional Reference page.
